Once you’re here, you’ll be given a high-sensitivity, lab-quality urine pregnancy test to confirm whether or not you are actually pregnant. In our experience it gives women peace of mind to know for sure. Following the pregnancy test, you’ll be asked a few questions about symptoms and the timing of your last menstrual period (LMP).
Please note that all consultations and medical results are strictly confidential and provided at no-cost. We do not provide information to anyone about our patients without their consent.
If the pregnancy test is positive, we suggest an ultrasound to determine fetal viability (how far along you are). It’s important information for you to know in helping to determine your pregnancy options.
In many cases, the ultrasound can be performed during the same initial visit. We know this can be a stressful time and we aim to make appointments efficient and a positive experience for you.
